NIMO NAS for local AI
Updated
Is NIMO good for local AI?
NIMO's Nexus Pro is built for GPU-accelerated local AI, with a slot for a full-size graphics card, an 800W power supply and bundles that include RTX 50-series cards. Community reports confirm Ollama and Open WebUI working. NIMO is a young US brand, so check UK availability and support before buying.

What makes the Nexus Pro different?
Most NAS systems treat a GPU as an optional extra that barely fits. The Nexus Pro is designed around one: a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot wired at x8, room for cards up to 330mm, and a 400W power budget for the GPU alone. NIMO says that lets it run models up to 70B locally with a suitable card fitted.
The base platform is a Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS with Radeon 780M graphics and a 16 TOPS NPU, DDR5 memory up to 96GB, four bays, three M.2 slots and two 10GbE ports.
What should UK buyers check?
NIMO sells mainly through its US store in US dollars, and its operating system is described as ZimaOS, NIMO OS or Open Harbor OS in different places. Confirm warranty handling and UK delivery before you order.
