What do we record?
We record anonymous usage events such as page views, Finder selections, comparisons and clicks on retailer buttons. Each event stores the event name, the page path and the options chosen. We do not store your IP address, we do not set tracking cookies and we do not build profiles of individual visitors. We use these totals to decide which systems and guides to add next.
Who hosts the site?
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. Cloudflare acts as our processor under its data processing terms.
What happens when I click a retailer link?
Retailer links take you to that retailer's site. Amazon and other retailers may set their own cookies to attribute a purchase. Their privacy policies apply once you leave AINAS.co.uk.
What are my rights?
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and complain to a supervisory authority such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Because we do not identify visitors, we normally hold no personal data about you beyond the content of any email you send us.
