What is the difference between the iDX6011 and the iDX6011 Pro?
The iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro are the same platform at two price points. Both get UGREEN's iDX-only software, including the Uliya local assistant, semantic search and Intelligent Learning. Both have six bays, two M.2 slots, two 10GbE ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 128GB system SSD and an internal PCIe Gen4 x8 slot.
The differences are the processor, the memory options and two extras. The iDX6011 uses a Core Ultra 5 125H with 14 cores and an 11 TOPS NPU, and is sold with 32GB or 64GB of soldered LPDDR5X. The iDX6011 Pro uses a Core Ultra 7 255H with 16 cores, Arc 140T graphics and a 13 TOPS NPU, and only comes with 64GB. The Pro also adds an OCuLink port and a front touch display.
Memory is soldered on both, so the choice you make at checkout is permanent. The 32GB iDX6011 handles 7B to 14B class models; at 64GB either model holds 32B class models comfortably (Estimated). For language models the CPU difference is modest, because memory bandwidth limits speed more than cores do.

You want UGREEN's local AI features without paying for extras you will not use. Pick the 64GB version if you plan to run 14B to 32B class models, or the 32GB version if your AI use is mostly photos, search and small assistants. The internal PCIe x8 slot still gives you a GPU upgrade path.
