Zettlab D6 Ultra vs UGREEN iDX6011
Updated
Which should you buy?
If you are buying now, the UGREEN iDX6011 is the one you can actually get in the UK, with the same Core Ultra 5 125H, six bays and dual 10GbE. The Zettlab D6 Ultra's advantage is upgradeable memory to 96GB, but it was still a sold-out pre-order without UK shipping in October 2026.
What is the difference between the D6 Ultra and the iDX6011?
These are close rivals built on the same Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, with Arc graphics, an 11 TOPS NPU, six bays, two M.2 slots and two 10GbE ports. Both ship with a local AI assistant in their own operating system: UGREEN's Uliya on UGOS Pro, and the ZettOS assistant with downloadable open models.
The biggest difference is memory. The iDX6011 has soldered LPDDR5X, sold as 32GB or 64GB and never upgradeable. The D6 Ultra uses DDR5 SO-DIMMs, ships with 32GB or none, and accepts up to 96GB, which moves it from 32B class models to 70B class models at 4-bit (Estimated).
GPU expansion differs as well. The UGREEN has an internal PCIe Gen4 x8 slot and UGREEN documents NVIDIA card support. The Zettlab has an external PCIe 4.0 x8 connector, and its own documentation says external GPUs are not recommended without official confirmation.
The rest favours the UGREEN today: it is on sale in the UK through Amazon and UGREEN's store, carries a three-year warranty against Zettlab's two, and has a longer track record for software updates.
Choose the Zettlab D6 Ultra if
You want the most memory headroom from a Core Ultra platform and are willing to wait for the Ultra models to ship and arrange import. Running 70B class models on the NAS is the goal, so upgradeable memory matters more to you than availability.
Choose the UGREEN iDX6011 if
You want to buy a Core Ultra AI NAS in the UK now, with a UK warranty and a supported internal GPU slot. 64GB covers your models, and UGREEN's assistant, photo AI and semantic search are what you plan to use.

Which can run bigger local models?
The Zettlab D6 Ultra reaches 96GB of memory against 64GB on the UGREEN iDX6011. That is the difference between 70B class models at 4-bit with room left for longer context and 32B class models comfortably, and 70B class models at 4-bit with little headroom (Estimated). The largest 4-bit model each can hold is roughly 146B and 93B parameters, after leaving 8GB for the operating system.
For GPU acceleration, the Zettlab D6 Ultra offers pcie x8 slot, while the UGREEN iDX6011 offers pcie x8 slot. A discrete card with its own memory is the biggest single speed upgrade for local models, so this matters more than CPU cores for anyone planning to run 14B models or larger.
The Zettlab D6 Ultra has a 11 TOPS NPU; The UGREEN iDX6011 has a 11 TOPS NPU. NAS NPUs help vendor features such as photo recognition and search, but most open-source LLM runtimes do not use them yet.
